Description
Length 3.2-3.5 mm. Head, elytra (except for apices brownish black), pronotum, elytral apices and venter of prothorax dark orange; appendages, pterothorax and abdomen almost infuscate. Dorsum covered by a short, recumbent golden pubescence. Pronotal disc moderately convex with anterior and lateral borders, base margined only near hind angles. Pronotum and elytra densely, confusedly punctate, elytral margins hardly visible from above; epipleuron narrow, incomplete at apical 1/3. Male: 5th and 6th abdominal ventrite emarginate medially; 5th ventrite with lateral setose foveae.
